Agentforce Quickstart
VALiNTRY360 takes you from idea to a live, governed Agentforce agent with a fixed-scope Quickstart: one use case, clear deliverables, real testing and a handover your team can run.
What Is the Agentforce Quickstart?
The Agentforce Quickstart is VALiNTRY360’s fixed-scope package for putting your first Agentforce agent into production. It is a partner offering, not a Salesforce product. We focus on one agent, one clear job, and take it from scoping to go-live with testing, training, support, a measured baseline, and practical runbooks. It suits teams that want proof before committing to a larger program, while setting clear expectations that it is not a full implementation. Because Agentforce changes quickly, we build in the current Agentforce Studio experience and align the work with Salesforce’s latest terminology and capabilities. As your Salesforce Agentforce Quick Start partner, we help select the right use case, assess your org, test real scenarios, and prepare your team for handover. Our work builds on our Agentforce AI consulting and our Agentforce managed services.
Agentforce Quickstart Package at a Glance

What Is Included in Our Agentforce Quickstart
We deliver the Quickstart as six connected steps of work. Each one ends in something your team can review, so you always know what you have paid for.
Use Case Selection and Success Measures
We pick the first use case with you and agree how you will judge it. You get a one-page brief with the agent’s job, its limits and the numbers that define success.
- Workshop with the business owner, IT and a frontline user
- Use case scored on volume, data readiness and risk
- Baseline metrics recorded before build starts
Org Readiness and Enablement
We check editions, licenses, permissions and data, then turn on what the agent needs. Many first launches stall here because one missing license fails silently.
- Edition, license and permission set review
- Einstein Generative AI, Data 360 and Agentforce enablement checks
- Dedicated agent user created with minimal access
Agent Build in Agentforce Studio
We create the agent from the right template and write its instructions, subagents and actions. Our team builds in a sandbox and commits a version only when it passes review.
- Agent template, settings and system messages
- Subagents and actions sized to the single job
- Version control and a commit-then-activate release path
Knowledge and Action Setup
We ground the agent in approved content and connect the few actions it needs. We keep the first set small, because a short list performs better than a long one.
- Data library built from reviewed, well-structured content
- Flow-based actions for record lookups and updates
- Escalation rules that hand off to a person with context
Testing and Launch
We test before any customer or employee sees the agent. We run realistic and adversarial conversations, fix what fails and launch to a small group first.
- Preview and trace testing against a written scenario list
- Edge cases, off-topic requests and handoff checks
- Phased launch with daily review in the first week
Training, Handover and Support
We train the people who will own the agent and leave documentation they can use. A support window after launch covers questions and fixes.
- Admin and builder training on Agentforce Studio
- Runbook covering monitoring, changes and escalation
- Post-launch support window and a next-steps recommendation
Which First Agent Should You Build?
The best first agent has a narrow job, clear inputs and a result you can measure. We help you choose among a few proven starting points.
First Agent
Best For
What It Needs
Service Agent
Answering common customer questions and creating cases
Service Cloud data, reviewed knowledge articles and a messaging channel. See our Agentforce for Service work.
Employee Agent
Answering internal questions and running simple record tasks
Approved internal content, clear access rules and a defined audience
Sales Engagement Agent
Following up on leads by email and booking meetings
Lead data with owners, email connection and approved messaging. See our Agentforce SDR agent page.
Custom Agent
A job that no standard template covers
A written process, defined actions and an owner
Service and employee agents usually score highest for a first project because the data is closer to hand and the risk is lower. We recommend whichever one you can measure within weeks.
What Is Not Included, and What Comes Next
A fixed scope only works when its edges are clear. These items sit outside the Quickstart, and each has a natural next step.
01
Multiple Agents
Each agent needs its own use case, data access, actions, testing, and governance. After the first agent proves its value, we can create a phased rollout plan for additional agents.
02
Custom Apex Development
Custom Apex requires design, code review, testing, and a clear maintenance owner. We scope this work as a separate build project when standard configuration and Flow are not enough.
03
Outside System Integrations
Connecting Agentforce to ERP, HR, billing, or other external platforms requires API design, data mapping, and security review. Our Agentforce integration services cover this work.
04
Multi-Language Support
Each language needs reviewed content, prompts, testing, and quality checks for accurate, consistent customer responses. We can scope it as an extension after the initial agent is live.
05
Advanced Analytics and Reporting
Detailed measurement often requires data modeling beyond standard Salesforce reports. We can plan a separate measurement project once the agent has enough usage data.
06
Data Cleanup at Scale
Agent quality depends on the records and knowledge it can access. If your data needs profiling, deduplication, or standardization, our AI readiness services can prepare it before expansion.

Really, really liking @reflectnotes so far. It’s just the right amount of simple/fast for a personal note taking app and does most of the hard work of organizing in the background.
Ryan Delk
@delk
Don’t take it from me: @reflectnotes is magic.
Demetria Giles
@drosewritings
Playing around with @reflectnotes. I’m back logging key thoughts, details and soundbites from episodes, books, meetings, articles, etc from the past week. So far, it’s a knowledge worker’s dream come true.
Fabrizio Rinaldi
@linuz90
I’m keeping @reflectnotes open *all* the time, and I’m using both for simple journaling, and long form writing. It’s rare to see a single app work so well for both.
Jeremy McPeak
@jwmcpeak
I just received an invite to @reflectnotes, and holy crap! It is well thought out, and I can see this being my note- taking platform going forward. Well done! I’m looking forward to seeing how the app progresses.
Jonathan Simcoe
@jdsimcoe
All righty. I have to give a massive shout-out to @maccaw for pioneering @reflectnotes. It has already matured to a point where it is a daily driver for me. The speed, focus, and attention to detail (especially perfect bits of structured data) is superb.
How We Score Your First Use Case
A short scoring pass keeps the first project honest. We rate each candidate against five criteria and start with the one that scores highest.
Criterion
What We Look For
Why It Matters
Volume
A task that repeats many times a week
Results show up fast and are easy to measure
Data readiness
Clean records and reviewed content
The agent is only as accurate as what it reads
Risk
Low impact if an answer is wrong
Mistakes stay small while you learn
Owner
A named business lead
Someone must tune the agent and own the numbers
Baseline
Existing handle time, volume or cost
Without a baseline, no one can prove the result
Ideas that score low are not bad ideas. They belong in a later phase, after the first agent has shown what works in your org.
Quickstart Challenges We Solve
First agents fail for predictable reasons. We plan around each one from day one.
01A Vague First Use Case
Teams say they want an agent for support or sales without defining the job. The agent tries to do everything and does little well.
Our solution:
We write one job, one audience and one success measure before we build. If a second job appears, it goes on a later phase.
02Missing Licenses and Permissions
A setup can look complete and still fail at runtime because a license, a permission set or an agent user is missing. The error messages rarely point to the cause.
Our solution:
We check editions, permission set licenses and agent user access during the readiness step. We test with the agent user, not the administrator.
03Knowledge That Is Not Ready
An agent grounded in messy documents gives messy answers. Long PDFs, complex tables and outdated articles are common causes.
Our solution:
We review the content the agent will use, clean up the weak parts and confirm the data library is ready before testing. Our AI readiness services cover larger cleanups.
04A Pilot With No Baseline
Many pilots end with a demo and no numbers. Leaders cannot tell whether the agent saved time, so the project stalls.
Our solution:
We record starting measures before build, such as handle time, resolution rate or hours spent on the task. The Quickstart ends with a clear expand, adjust or stop recommendation.
Agentforce Quickstart vs Doing It Yourself vs a Full Implementation
A Quickstart is one option among three. The right one depends on your team’s skills, timeline and ambition.

We suggest a Quickstart when you have not shipped an agent before, or when your last attempt stalled. Start with a full implementation only when the use cases, data and owners are already clear.
Our Agentforce Quickstart Process
Our six-step process moves from scoping to a handover your team can run. Each step has set activities, a deliverable and a decision point.
Step 1: Scope
We agree the use case, success measures and package limits.
- Workshop with business, IT and a frontline user
- Written agent brief with the job and the boundaries
- Baseline metrics captured
Step 2: Prepare
We check the org and enable what the agent needs.
- Edition, license and permission review
- Agent user and access set up with minimal rights
- Knowledge content reviewed and cleaned
Step 3: Build
We create the agent in a sandbox.
- Template, instructions, subagents and actions
- Data library connected for grounding
- Version committed after internal review
Step 4: Test
We test before anyone depends on the agent.
- Scenario list covering normal, edge and adversarial cases
- Trace review of every step the agent takes
- Fixes and retest until the list passes
Step 5: Launch
We release to a small group under watch.
- Channel connection and handoff routing
- Daily review in the first week
- Comparison with the baseline
Step 6: Hand Over
We train your team and set the next step.
- Admin and builder training
- Runbook and ownership defined
- Expand, adjust or stop recommendation
Timelines depend on how ready your org and content are on day one. We confirm the schedule after the scoping workshop, and we tell you early if a gap will move it.
What a Quickstart Looks Like Week by Week
Every project moves at its own pace, but most single-agent Quickstarts follow the same sequence. This is a typical pattern, and we confirm your dates after scoping.
Stage
What Happens
What You Receive
Week 1
Scoping workshop, readiness check, license and permission review, baseline captured
Agent brief, gap list and confirmed plan
Weeks 1 to 2
Content review, agent user setup, build in a sandbox
A working draft agent in Preview
Weeks 2 to 3
Scenario testing, fixes, handoff routing, channel connection
Test log and a release candidate
Weeks 3 to 4
Launch to a small group, daily review, training
Live agent, trained admins and early results
After launch
Support window, baseline comparison, next-step recommendation
Runbook and an expand, adjust or stop decision
A slow license approval or a long content review can move any stage. We flag those early so the date stays honest.
What We Need From Your Team
A Quickstart moves fast because it is focused. To keep the project on track, we ask for a small, defined commitment from four roles.
Business Owner:
Approves the use case, success measures, and launch decision, and joins the scoping workshop.
Salesforce Administrator:
Grants access, assigns licenses and permissions, and joins build reviews.
Content Owner:
Supplies and approves the articles, policies, or documents the agent will use to answer questions.
Frontline Tester:
Runs real scenarios in Preview and flags answers, actions, or handoffs that need refinement.
Your team should expect brief, scheduled input during discovery, build reviews, testing, and go-live. If any role is unavailable, we will help identify the right owner or adjust the plan before the project begins. An agent needs clear ownership after launch to stay accurate, useful, and supported.
Before You Start: Agentforce Readiness Checklist
Salesforce documents several prerequisites, and a missing one often shows up late. We check these in the first week.
Check
What Salesforce Documents
What We Do
Edition
Service agents run on Enterprise, Performance, Unlimited and Developer editions, plus Foundations or Agentforce 1
Confirm your edition and any add-on licenses
Setup order
Enable Data 360, Einstein Generative AI and the Einstein Trust Layer, then Agentforce
Follow the order and allow time for provisioning
Provisioning time
Data 360 and Einstein can take 15 to 60 minutes, and retrying too early can show misleading errors
Wait, then verify before moving on
Builder permissions
Builders need agent management permissions, and a permission set simplifies assignment
Assign a configuration permission set to builders
Agent user
The agent runs as a dedicated user with minimal default access
Grant only the objects and actions the job needs
Knowledge
The agent needs readable content and a ready search index
Review content and confirm the index status
Release path
You must commit a version before activation, and committed versions cannot be edited
Build in a sandbox and use new versions for changes
Salesforce also moved agent creation into Agentforce Studio. Starting the week of July 13, 2026, you can no longer create agents in the legacy builder in Setup. We build in Studio and can upgrade older agents for you.
Guardrails Built Into Every Quickstart
A fast launch still needs controls. We apply the same short list to every first agent.
01
Minimal Access
The agent runs as its own user with only the access its job needs. Write access starts closed and opens one object at a time.
02
Grounded Answers
We limit the agent to a reviewed data library, so it answers from approved content. Off-topic requests go to a person.
03
Human Handoff
We define when the agent stops and a person takes over, and we pass the conversation context with the handoff.
04
Testing Before Release
We run a written scenario list in Preview, review the trace and retest after every change. Salesforce also offers a Testing Center for larger batches, and we use it when volume justifies it.
What Does an Agentforce Quickstart Cost?
Cost has two sides: the partner fee and the Salesforce usage that follows. Salesforce pricing and editions change, so we confirm the terms in your agreement before we estimate anything.

Quick Start Results From VALiNTRY360
Our Agentforce Quickstart follows the same focused delivery model used across VALiNTRY360’s Salesforce Quick Start projects: define one clear goal, build the essential solution, train the team, and create a foundation for the next phase.
All American Solar: 16% Quarterly Growth
All American Solar needed a Salesforce system its team could run without a full-time administrator. VALiNTRY360 delivered a Sales Cloud Quick Start with lead and opportunity processes, Gmail synchronization, dashboards, and training. The company reported 16% quarterly year-over-year growth after launch.
Tri-County Hearing: Seven Patient Touchpoints in 60 Days
Tri-County Hearing needed a reliable way to follow up with prospective patients without depending on staff memory. Through a Health Cloud Quick Start, VALiNTRY360 configured automation and High Velocity Sales to route leads and manage follow-up. The practice can now reach each patient seven times within 60 days without significant custom programming.

Why Choose VALiNTRY360 for Your Agentforce Quickstart?
A Quickstart is only as good as the discipline around it. We keep the scope tight, the checks early and the handover complete.
Our team works across Agentforce, Flow, Data 360 and integrations, so the first agent connects to a plan, not a dead end. One accountable team means fewer handoffs and a single owner for the result.
We also stay honest about fit. If a Quickstart is the wrong first move for you, because your data needs work or your use case is still unclear, we tell you and recommend a readiness assessment instead. A smaller first step that lands is worth more than a launch that stalls.
01
Published scope
We list what is included and what is not, before you sign.
02
Readiness first
We find license, permission and data gaps in the first week.
03
One job, done well
We build one agent around one measurable outcome.
04
Governance from day one
We set access, handoff and testing rules before launch.
05
Honest cost modeling
We forecast usage and show what Salesforce charges separately.
06
Handover and next steps
We train your team and recommend what to do next.

Agentforce Quickstart
FAQ by VALiNTRY 360
The Agentforce Quickstart is VALiNTRY360's fixed-scope package for launching your first Agentforce agent. It covers use case selection, readiness checks, build, testing, training and post-launch support for one agent with one job. It is a partner offering, not a Salesforce product.
A scoped single-agent Quickstart usually takes 2 to 4 weeks. The timeline depends on how ready your org, licenses and content are on day one. We confirm the schedule after the scoping workshop and flag early anything that could move it.
After go-live, you have a working agent, trained admins, documented processes, and a clear view of what to improve next. You can continue with managed support, add integrations, expand the agent's actions, or plan additional agents when the first use case is delivering value.
It includes one agent, a defined number of subagents and actions, one channel, a reviewed data library, testing, admin training, a runbook and a post-launch support window. The package table on this page lists each limit, and extras are scoped separately.
You need an edition that supports Agentforce, such as Enterprise, Performance or Unlimited, along with the required licenses, a business owner and reviewed content. Salesforce also requires Einstein Generative AI and Data 360 to be enabled. We check all of it in the first week.
Most teams start with a service agent or an employee agent because the data is close and the risk is lower. A sales engagement agent suits lead follow-up. We score your options on volume, data readiness and risk, and recommend one you can measure.
A Quickstart proves value with one agent. A full implementation adds several agents, integrations and larger data work. Start with a Quickstart if you have not shipped an agent before. Move to a full program once the use cases, data and owners are clear.
Yes. We use the first agent as the pattern for the next. Each new agent gets its own scope, testing and baseline, and we plan the order based on value and risk. Extensions are scoped separately from the Quickstart.
Salesforce lists Data 360 among the features to enable for service agents, and it supports grounding. How much you use it depends on the agent. We scope only what the first agent needs and avoid a large data project at this stage.
A skilled administrator can build a basic agent, and some teams do. A partner helps when the work includes readiness checks, content cleanup, testing, governance and measurement. Those steps decide whether a first agent reaches production and keeps working.
We test normal questions, unclear requests, incorrect inputs, and cases that need a person. Your frontline testers review responses in Preview, and we refine instructions, knowledge, actions, and handoffs before the agent reaches users.
Yes, when the approved use case needs it. A Quickstart can include focused Flow-based actions, such as looking up a record, creating a case, or updating a field. We allow only the actions needed for the agent's job.
We ground the agent in reviewed, current content and set clear instructions for what it can answer. When the information is missing, unclear, or outside its scope, the agent should hand the request to a person.
We review user access, permissions, licenses, and the data the agent can read or update. The agent receives only the access required for its approved job, and we test using that access before launch.
The agent should not guess or continue beyond its approved limits. We configure escalation rules so it can hand the conversation to the right person with the available context, helping your team resolve the request faster.
