Challenge

As a long-time customer of Goldmine, AHU needed a better way to manage alumni data and adapting their current system would require significant investment to expand and modernize its capabilities. VALiNTRY was able to demonstrate that Salesforce would provide user friendly reporting, interoperability, and access to other alumni data sources that they were looking for.

VALiNTRY developed a Proof of Concept of the recommended Salesforce configuration to help AHU understand that Salesforce could:

  • Create a new system of impact vs simply a system of record
  • Visualize the customer’s existing data and make informed decisions based on it
  • Enable more accurate record keeping to improve communication, fundraising, continuing education, and accreditation for their alumni network that spanned 25 years.

Solution

Ultimately, AHU chose Salesforce as the more desirable and advantageous solution for their needs and VALiNTRY was chosen to conduct the implementation.

With implementation and configuration complete, AHU continues to see value in their new success platform. Other successes include:

AHU was able to craft a full 360 view of each alumni after graduation
